FIA recovers 15,000 fake SIMs from Lahore

Police arrests suspects - Tahir Abbas and Sheikh Qasim - involved in the case.

LAHORE:
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recovered 15,000 fake mobile phone SIMs from a house in Ferozepur Road, Lahore, Express News reported on Friday.

FIA Cyber Crime Circle raided suspect Tahir Abbas’ house and discovered the SIM cards there. Stolen data from National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) was used to activate these SIMs and then sold.


It is believed that these SIMs are used for carrying out crimes.

Police have arrested the suspects, Tahir Abbas and Sheikh Qasim involved in this case.
