NAB arrests postal workers for bungling

Postal workers arrested for their involvement in financial bungling worth millions of rupees in pension funds.

SIALKOT: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials have arrested accused Abdul Ghafur (dismissed post master by the alias ‘Zafarwal’) and accused Muhammad Yousaf (a dismissed clerk at the Sialkot GPO) for their involvement in financial bungling worth millions of rupees in pension funds as well as the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).

The accused have been arrested on reports by Sialkot postal division superintendent Muhammad Rafiq Arif. Arif told the police that the two accused had been tampering with funds for a while and had only recently been caught by the post office administration. PPI
