Law and order: Wanted man shot dead
The deceased and his accomplice had allegedly snatched motorcycle from Arshad, a resident of Kamala Chak, at gunpoint.

Police said a man wanted for multiple offences was shot dead on Thursday. The deceased, Imran, and his accomplice had allegedly snatched a motorcycle from Arshad, a resident of Kamala Chak, at gunpoint.
A team from Taanda police station pursued the suspects. The police team managed to encircle the men near Dhamma. The suspects fired at the police. One of the men was killed in the exchange of fire that ensued. The other suspect fled from the location. District Police Officer Rai Aijaz Ahmed said that Imran had allegedly killed three men and injured six others after they resisted a robbery in Qadirabad. Ahmed said that the deceased had also been involved in a murder case in Taanda area.
