A provincial advisory board has been constituted by the home department to conduct research on major crimes and security issues. Moreover, it will organise seminars on both national and international levels to raise awareness of major crimes. The board will also prepare policy briefs and working papers on major crimes and security issues which will be presented before the provincial assembly for approval. Home secretary Dr Niaz Ali Abbasi will serve as the chairperson of the board.
