Boat Capsized: Two fishermen bodies found

KARACHI: Of the 12 fishermen who went missing after their boat capsized near Mubarak Village on Sunday, two of them were found dead on Tuesday. The first body was recovered near Hawke’s Bay at around 4:30pm. According to the rescue workers, the man appears to be in his 30s. “His name could be Zahoor as that is written on his right arm,” said Sikandar, a local fisherman, adding that he looked Bengali and may have been a resident of Machhar Colony. The second body was recovered from Manora at around 5pm. The rescue workers said that he could also be a Bengali fisherman. Both the bodies were brought to Civil hospital and were sent to the Edhi morgue. The number of missing fishermen has yet to be confirmed but the locals say it could be around a dozen. The officials are unsure from which area the boat left for fishing.
