Taking action MQM suspends its info dept official

The MQM chief fully endorsed their decision and called the PFJU’s president, Rana Azeem, to apologise.

KARACHI:
The Rabita Committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) suspended a member of the information department, Qamar Mansoor, for an indefinite period on Monday for his misconduct with a delegation of the Pakistan Federation of Union of Journalists (PFUJ). Soon after the solidarity rally at Jinnah Park, the members of the Rabita Committee attended a hurriedly called meeting, headed by senior deputy convener, Nadeem Nusrat. The members of the Rabita Committee expressed their sorrow over the misconduct of Mansoor and announced his suspension for an indefinite period. The MQM chief fully endorsed their decision and called the PFJU’s president, Rana Azeem, to apologise.
