An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday sought comments from Nishtar Town police on a petition seeking registration of a case against two people for allegedly occupying the land of an imambargah.
Petitioner Sughra Bibi said her daughter-in-law owned a property that housed an imambargh. She said two men, Javed and Aslam, had tried to occupy the land and demolish the worship place.
She told the judge she had gone to Nishtar Town police to file a complaint but the station house officer had not entertained her request.
