New CJ: Justice Nasirul Mulk to take oath on July 6
Mulk was elected as secretary general, Peshawar High Court Bar Association in 1981.

Justice Nasirul Mulk will replace Chief Justice Tassudaq Hussain Jillani, who will retire on July 5 after serving as top judge of the country for around seven months. Born on August 17, 1950, in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Justice Nasirul Mulk is a barrister-at-law of the Inner Temple, London.
Before his appointment as judge of the Peshawar High Court on June 4, 1994, he served as advocate general of NWFP (now renamed K-P) for one year. He was elevated as chief justice of Peshawar High Court on May 31, 2004 and as a Supreme Court judge on April 4, 2005.
