Police claim to have arrested 78 criminals during targeted raids in different parts of the city on Sunday. The law enforcers also claimed to have killed a suspected criminal in an encounter. According to a statement released by the Central Police Office, the arrested accused included proclaimed offenders, absconders and extortionists. The police arrested these suspects in 77 raids which were carried out in different parts of the city on the basis on intelligence reports.
