PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government has established free tuberculosis (TB) diagnostic centres for North Waziristan’s internally displaced persons (IDP) in medical facilities adjacent to their camps. The camps were established by the K-P TB Control Programme with an objective to provide free treatment facilities to IDPs against the disease. District Coordinator of the TB Control Programme Dr Israr Khan urged IDPs to visit nearby health facilities for proper diagnosis and treatment, adding that the medicines have already been provided to the centres.
