Investigation underway: Four women abducted
None of the accused had been arrested until Saturday evening.

As many as four women were abducted from various areas in the district on Friday and Saturday. A police spokesman told journalists on Saturday that Qurban and his accomplices allegedly abducted a married woman from Housing Colony. Irfan and his accomplices lured a girl and apparently kidnapped her from village 202-RB. In another incident, Mujahid and his accomplices kidnapped a woman from village 137-RB who was on her way to work in the fields. Police said Anwar and his accomplices lured a girl from village 209-RB and allegedly abducted her. Police have registered the cases and started investigations. None of the accused had been arrested until Saturday evening.
