The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will organise a rally on July 6 to express solidarity with the armed forces, announced the party’s deputy convener. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that a ‘historic rally’ will be held at Jinnah Park near the Quaid’s mausoleum. The MQM leader said that various political and religious parties, as well as, people from all walks of life, will be invited to attend the rally. He also claimed that their congregation will be the biggest ever in support of the armed forces in the country’s history.
