Minister’s claim: ‘PTI chief spent Rs377m on rallies’
Pervaiz Rashid says amount wasted on public rallies would have been sufficient to feed IDPs.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has voluntarily reduced the PM House’s expenditures by 40 per cent while PTI Chairman Imran Khan has spent a whopping Rs377 million on his public meetings in Islamabad, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Bahawalpur, said Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Friday. The amount wasted on public rallies would have been sufficient to feed the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan for seven days, said the minister in a statement here.
