Basic life support: Workshop held to train medical students
The workshop, titled ‘Skill Development and Capacity Building for Basic Life Support (BLS)’, was held at IPMS.

The Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPMS) at Khyber Medical University (KMU) organised a one-day workshop in collaboration with the cardiology department of Lady Reading Hospital. The workshop, titled ‘Skill Development and Capacity Building for Basic Life Support (BLS)’, was held at IPMS in Hayatabad. KMU Vice Chancellor Dr Mohammad Hafizullah was the chief guest on the occasion. He said the main purpose of the workshop was to train students on basic life support. He added the course would be made mandatory in future for students of the third and fourth academic year.
