The prime minister made the announcement while addressing the IDPs in Bannu. The Ramazan package is in addition to the earlier announced monthly allowance of Rs20,000 which includes Rs5,000 for non-food items and Rs3,000 for rent.
Earlier this morning, the premier arrived in Bannu in a helicopter to visit the camps and was received by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif. Nawaz was accompanied by Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, K-P Governor Sardar Mehtab Abbasi and Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Minister Lieutenant General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch.

Good work done by PM. Whatever he does for Pakistan, haters will continue their hate. All my prayers for Nawaz Sharif who is the only hope for Pakistan.
The federal govt is doing all it can. Its basicslly fed govt n kpk govt issue as kpk is adjacent to tribal area. There is no role of punjab or sindh or baluchistan govt.
Now we're getting somewhere. Nawaz has to keep KP intact. Despite threats from PTI to dissolve the assembly.
I dont understand why the IDPs want to go to punjab and sindh. Why this constant complaint. Is there something special there ? All thry need is a safe place and food and shelter and soon they will be back home.
@ABKhan : I believe you failed to notice that the PM said "Speaking to IDPs the prime minister remarked that helping the IDPs is government's responsibility and not a favour" Please stop glorifying Imran Khan ad nauseam who is busy in Bahawalpur doing "Tsunami Jalsa" instead of being in camps with the IDPs.
Please tie this grant with compulsory Polio vaccination Mr. PM. We have had enough of this in addition to the terrorism scam..
It is very much encouraging that the premier is among in the IDPs, if he can pave more attention to this specific chapter today in Pakistan,he will always remember as a legend in the history of Pakistan. today it is not a time to play politics. these peoples really needs support from the nation. each indivduals should play a vitol role beleive me it is very hot and they are much deprived.
Allah give us strength to fullfill the needs of innocent displaced peoples.
Instead of these gimmicks. Accept the responsibility, FATA is federal government's responsibility and the actions of IK are great. When three provinces have closed the doors to poor IDPs of FATA, KPK government is accommodating them. The federal government who is responsible for FATA has not setup anything for them in PUNJAB.
It is a good step by Federal government to announce Ramadan package for IDPs. Earlier announced monthly allowance of Rs 20,000 per family will solve the difficulties of displaced people. Hope that provincial govt of KPK will also help the affected persons.
