Looted: House burgled in broad daylight in Rawalpindi

The robbers made away with Rs48,000, gold ornaments worth thousands of rupees and three cell phones.

RAWALPINDI:


A house has been burgled in Chaklala in a broad daylight.


Umar lodged a complaint with the police that three armed robbers barged into his house and held his family members hostage at gunpoint.


The robbers made away with Rs48,000, gold ornaments worth thousands of rupees and three cell phones.


The complainant also told the police that the robbers roughed him up when he resisted them.


The police have registered a case, however, no arrests or recoveries had been made till the filing of this report.
