Grand alliance: PML-Q invites Ayaz Palijo to remove govt

According to Katiar, the QAT will discuss the invitation at their central executive committee meeting.

Ayaz Latif Palijo, chief advocate of the Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT), has been invited to join the Tahirul Qadri-led movement to remove the incumbent government from office, QAT spokesperson Noor Ahmed Katiar told The Express Tribune.


He said that Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain contacted Palijo on Thursday. “He invited Palijo to become a part of the grand alliance for a joint struggle against the Sharif-led government.”

According to Katiar, the QAT will discuss the invitation at their central executive committee meeting.

Addressing a rally in Thatta on Thursday, Palijo advised Qadri to present his demands democratically.
