Sherry Rehman's daughter laid to rest in Karachi

KARACHI:

Marvi Khurshid Malik, daughter of PPP central leader and Senator Sherry Rehman, was laid to rest on Monday at the Defence Phase VIII graveyard. She passed away on Sunday night.

Her funeral prayers were offered at the same graveyard and were attended by a large number of mourners, including family members, relatives, senior government officials, PPP leaders and workers, MNAs, MPAs, provincial ministers, political figures from various parties, members of the business community, and other prominent citizens.

Those who attended the funeral included Sindh Governor Nihal Hashmi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Ghulam Mustafa Shah, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, and MQM-P leader Faisal Sabzwari, among others.

Earlier, First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and MQM leader Nasreen Jalil visited the residence of Sherry Rehman to offer their condolences on the demise of her daughter.
