Clan clashes: Minor killed, 10 others injured in tribal dispute
Injured were shifted to Pano Akil taluka hospital for medical treatment.

A minor girl was killed and 10 others, including women and children, were injured, when a group of armed men barged into a house on Wednesday in the Pinjal Chachar village, situated within the limits of Baiji police station near Pano Akil district, Sukkur.
According to sources, a group of armed men broke into the house of Nazir Chachar early morning while the family was sleeping. The men opened indiscriminate firing and Chachar’s minor daughter was killed on the spot. Ten other family members were injured and the perpetrators fled from the scene after the firing. The injured include Nazir Chachar, Mai Hakeeman, Samina, Seema, Rani, Naveed, Aqsa and others. They were shifted to Pano Akil taluka hospital for medical treatment.
Baiji SHO Mohammad Mithal Khakhrani, while talking to The Express Tribune, confirmed the incident and said an enmity between the two groups of the Chachar clan led to the incident. No case was registered until the filing of this report.
