Rail travel: Dining cars restored in three trains
The concession has been announced for economy and AC classes.

Pakistan Railways has restored dining car facilities in three long-route trains and announced a fares-and-facilities summer package for passengers. A Railways official said the dining car facility had been restored in Karachi Express travelling between Lahore and Karachi, Jaffar Express travelling between Rawalpindi and Quetta and Akbar Express operating between Quetta and Lahore. The facility was suspended in the trains in 2012 and 2013. The summer package will begin on June 25. Authorities have slashed fares of various trains and categories by 10 per cent. Passengers who purchase five tickets will be offered a ticket free of cost. The concession has been announced for economy and AC classes.
