Snooker: Asif loses to India’s Lilly in 6 Reds event
Asif’s partner in the team event, Mohammad Sajjad, won his 6 Reds match

Former IBSF World Champion Mohammad Asif lost 4-3 to India’s Dharminder Lilly at the IBSF 6 Reds and World Team Championship in Sharmul Sheikh, Egypt on Sunday. He began his match by taking the opening two frames 41-6, 37-0. However, Lilly hit back in the third with a score of 37-22.
The Indian made no error in equalising the match 2-2 in the following set, 66-0, and took the lead in the fifth frame, 47-11. Asif replied in the sixth frame 42-17, but Lilly sealed the win in the deciding one, 36-26.
