Murder most foul: Nurse found dead, woman looted

RAWALPINDI: The police are investigating the murder of a nurse who was found dead in Gulshan Colony of Rawalpindi. The deceased, identified as Ume Kalsoom, was a Captain Nurse at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi. Her husband, Shahzad Ahmed, is a WAPDA employee and posted in Okara currently. Shahzad in his statement told the Civil Lines police that on Thursday evening, he found his wife lying unconscious in her room. He called an ambulance and shifted her to the Distract Headquarters hospital where the doctors pronounced her dead, he added. Meanwhile, Inayat approached the same police that two armed motorcyclists intercepted her on Tulsa Road and snatched a gold chain and a mobile phone and cash at gunpoint. Moreover, Muhammad Fahim approached the police that auto-thieves have stolen his car (AHP-758) from Marrir Hassan Chowk.
