HSY’s ensemble will be part of an exclusive editorial shoot for Schön!
The fashion industry in Pakistan has taken another big leap in terms of fame and fortune with the addition of Team HSY in an international editorial shoot for a fashion magazine, according to a press release, the Condé Nast publication Schön Magazine will be featuring Pakistani designer HSY’s creations along with various major international fashion names in the industry, such as Versace, Gucci, Chanel, Moschino, DSquared, Jean Paul Gaultier, Reply and Tom Ford.
HSY’s ensemble will be part of an exclusive editorial shoot for Schön!, an established online magazine and printed publication which showcases international creative talent, alongside outfits and accessories from the fashion heavyweights.
“It’s an amazing feeling when your work is recognised and appreciated, be it at a national or international level. To be a part of an editorial shoot for a Condé Nast publication is a wonderful global validation of our work and in turn, of Pakistani fashion,” says Hassan Sheheryar Yasin of HSY to The Express Tribune.
The shoot was styled by celebrated international stylist Laurent Dombrrowicz and shot by photographic duo Sandrine Dulermo & Michael Labica. According to HSY, Laurent Dombrrowicz saw HSY’s creations at a show in Paris and personally approached him for a meeting with the Conde Nast team. “He personally selected the skirt featured in the shoot then and there and he then used it for Schön! Magazine’s editorial, which included pieces and accessories from Gucci, Chanel, Moschino, Versace, Maison Martin Margiela and many more,” added Yasin.
