Son of JUI-F senator gunned down in South Waziristan

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: The son of a Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) senator was gunned down in Wana on Thursday, Express News reported.

Wana is the largest town of South Waziristan Agency.

JUI-F Senator Maulana Saleh Shah's son Shamsul Islam was reportedly travelling from Wana to Tank district when unidentified persons fired on him, killing him on the spot.

The motive for the attack is not known at this time.
