Forbidden Pleasure: Police arrest 22 for bathing in canal

FAISALABAD: Police arrested 22 people, mostly youngsters, for taking bath in the Rakh Branch canal late on Tuesday. A police spokesman said that the local administration had imposed a ban on taking baths in the canal. Banners were also put on display at both banks of the Canal. However, many people were violating the ban to get relief from the excessive heat. Late on Tuesday, police, along with the city assistant commissioner, reached the area and took 22 people into custody.
