Introducing advanced courses: SSUET to introduce new discipline
The members agreed to introduce a new discipline called electrical engineering from the academic year 2015.

The academic council of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology held a meeting to review the courses of the disciplines being taught at the varsity and decided to introduce a new discipline, according to a press release issued on Tuesday. The members agreed to introduce a new discipline called electrical engineering from the academic year 2015. The council also discussed the new prospectus for the admissions of 2015. Currently, the university is providing teaching facilities in nine disciplines. Electrical engineering will be the tenth discipline.
