Load Shedding: Protesters attack Mepco office
They burnt tyres, suspending the flow of traffic for more than three hours.

Around two dozens people on Tuesday attacked the office of the Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) during a protest against unannounced load shedding in the city, police said. The protesters also beat three Mepco workers, identified as Zahid Ahmad, Ahmad Hassan and Muhammad Tayyab, at the office in Model Town. They vandalised the office property and fled firing shots in the air. Saddar police have registered a case against 22 people. In Kot Chatta Bhatta, a group of people blocked Indus Highway for traffic in protest against load shedding. They burnt tyres, suspending the flow of traffic for more than three hours.
