Sindh chief minister calls high-level security meeting
Army troops have been deployed in all major cities of the country.

With army troops deployed around sensitive installations across the country, the Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan summoned a high level security meeting in Karachi on Monday, Express News reported.
The Corps Commander of Karachi was also present in the meeting high-level meeting.
Earlier on Monday, army troops were deployed in all major cities of the country and troops have started moving from Malir Cantt for deployment at sensitive areas of Karachi.
After a long period of speculation, which also included attempts at peace talks, Pakistan on Sunday launched a military operation against militants in the troubled North Waziristan agency of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata).
