Punjab budget 2014-2015: Auqaf and religious affairs
Govt will be restoring, conserving the Wazir Khan Mosque and Re-constructing the Shrine of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain.

The Punjab government has allocated Rs100 million for Auqaf and religious affairs in the fiscal budget 2014-15 which consists of Rs30 million for the ongoing schemes and Rs70 million for the new schemes.
The government will be restoring and conserving the Wazir Khan mosque and re-constructing the Shrine of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain.
The government also aims the protection, conservation and sustainable use of Auqaf properties, mosques and shrines; facilitation of pilgrims and devotees through provision of basic services and development of new facilities; and promotion of religious harmony in the fiscal year 2014-15.
