Negligence: Six MEPCO officials suspended
MEPCO Executive Engineer Naeem Akhtar on Friday suspended six officials.

MEPCO Executive Engineer Naeem Akhtar on Friday suspended six officials in a sub division in Layyah over complaints by citizens against the officials. MEPCO Layyah Circle Office Sub Division In charge SDO Alamdar Abbas has been transferred and posted as an OSD (on special duty). Six officials including a line superintendent and five line men have been suspended from service for negligence. Residents of Layyah had complained to the executive engineer that they had been demanding bribes to address their problems.
