Take responsibility: PML-Q criticises govt for airport attack
The attack at the Karachi airport is a failure on the part of the federal and provincial governments.
KARACHI:
The attack at the Karachi airport is a failure on the part of the federal and provincial governments, and the head of the Civil Aviation Authority and others responsible should be sacked, said Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Sindh chapter president Haleem Adil Sheikh. Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press club on Thursday, Sheikh said that the death of seven persons in the cold storage is unfortunate and should be thoroughly investigated. “The federal and the provincial government officials, rather than taking responsibility, are blaming each other,” he added. Sheikh said that none of the officials from the federal and provincial governments attended the funerals of the deceased, which indicates a total disregard for the sacrifices made by our security institutions and added that the families of the deceased should be compensated.
