Stuff you don’t want to miss
Tamanna, Edge of Tomorrow and The Bald Soprano: must watch.
Tamanna
The long delayed Pakistani film Tamanna has finally made it to cinemas across the country.
Directed by Steven Moore, it’s a neo noir film based on Anthony Shaffrer’s famous play Sleuth.
The film stars Salman Shahid, Mehreen Raheel, Omair Rana and Feryal Gauhar.
Go watch it and find out whether the film is better than the other options available in multiplexes.
Edge of Tomorrow
It doesn’t get better than Tom Cruise fighting aliens on the big screen. This time around, he is also accompanied by Emily Blunt and both have executed tough fight sequences, while wearing heavy metal suits that are their battle gear in the film.
Edge of Tommorow has opened in cinemas all across Pakistan and is expected to run for about two to three weeks, if not more.
The Bald Soprano
National Academy of Performing Arts is playing The Bald Soprano by Eugene Lomesco.
Directed by Ali Junejo, the play falls under the category of absurdist theatre and that is why it is only recommended for theatre enthusiasts.
Needless to say, it may be a pleasant break from all the Bollywood-inspired musicals.
