City Police Officer (CPO) Haidar Ashraf on Thursday visited the Chinese camp in Chak 58-JB Lehlan and checked security arrangements for Chinese engineers working on the motorway (M-4). The CPO directed the security officer, Inspector Abdul Ghafoor, to stay on high alert. He said the Chinese engineers should be guarded round-the-clock. He warned that no negligence in this regard would be tolerated. The CPO also directed the security incharge to submit regular reports to the CPO’s office so that the security could be beefed up if needed.
