PCB to increase salaries of lower cadre employees
Increments will be given to 442 employees who have not received a pay hike in the last three years.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced an increment for 442 employees who have not received a pay hike in the last three years, according to a press release.
A committee comprising Zaheer Abbas, Shakil Shaikh and Brig (retd) Sajid Hameed recommended a raise for employees with meagre salaries.
PCB Chairman Najam Sethi approved the recommendations which will be in effect from July 1.
Under these recommendations 232 regional employees will receive an increment. The average increase for PCB employees (headquarter) is around 10 per cent while for regional staff it is around 14 per cent.
Around 85 per cent of PCB’s staff (both headquarter and regional) earn less than Rs50,000 a month.
The press release further stated that the case for increase in salaries of higher cadre employees will be considered in due course.
