No other details were immediately available.

Dear try to understand few points 1. What is FCR. If someone attacks military or security personnel at some location call it x.y.z; the closer tribe is suppose to handover the culprits as early as possible but not later than 15 days. if they fail to do so, whole tribe has to be targeted. 2. These terrorist have not shifted here a week ago, there are here well over 20 years. They are married and living with the families. Whenever they fear an air attack, they get into population using them as shield. 3. Collateral damage is often talked. What about those terrorist attack where over 40000 civilian have died without any reason. 4. Collateral damage should be avoided but what if local people protect them because of any reason. Should they be left. 5. It is judgement call. to me anyone who kills innocent or supports the killer should be treated alike
@The Failed Rebel: In case you failed to notice, the Pakistani Army does not try to kill innocent civilians on purpose! AND There is always the specter of collateral damage in military operations! In case you failed to notice, the TTP has tried to kill/maim/cripple as many people as possible in their terrorist attacks! There are no "un intended" casualties in terrorist strikes! ALSO, it is difficult to defeat an insurgency when a neighboring country (Pakistan?)" openly supports and provides their Good Taliban assets (Afghan Taliban) with "safe havens" to operate cross border terrorist attacks from!
@truth: And yet they choose to leave the "safe heaven" and set up camps in KPK and FATA and swarm the Pukhtoon dominated areas of Karachi....things don't add up....
The series of terrorist attacks in the last few days show that the terrorists are unwilling to lay down their weapons and abide by the rule of the law. The terrorists need to be made aware that they cannot continue to attack at will. They need to be made aware that there will be serious repercussions associated with their terrorist activities. Our nations have made a lot of sacrifices in countering the threat of terrorism, and our common enemies have been unable to break our shared will and desire to fight for peace in the region. Pakistan in particular continues to face the wrath of terrorism. We greatly appreciate all of Pakistan’s sacrifices in the region, and fully support Pakistani government’s efforts to restore peace in the region.

@Stranger: You're waiting for the Gods to come and save you? These are not the fictional biblical times. This is the real world. If you want to save something you have to work at it.
Well done PAF... Keep bombing them and eradicate them from motherland. They have killed our beloved innocent countrymen. Do not stop please.
@Pity: My dear brother we have no money to give it to any one, we are not such rich country, we have our own problems and we have to solve those problems first. There was no need for us to fence the border if these peoples were our friends. Set your house in order and our good wishes are always with you, Salam
More BD in making.
This is the best strategy to over the terrorism, negotiations are useless so those behemoth militants should be razed and eradicated from our country by this one. Proud of PAK Fauj, PAF, Rangers, Police and SSG Commandos.
@Saleem: @Xnain: You cannot eliminate an ideology with a bullet. You need a better ideology so that there is no ground for the former to hold. The NATO forces despite have trillions-worth of artillery were not able to eliminate Taliban because of one simple misunderstanding. If you people want to really see a change, it's best to hope that a visionary leader rises amidst us who seeks to dispel the differences between Muslims so that peace is restored. Do note that if we talk on the grounds of Shariah, TTP will be charged for the murder of innocent civilians and so will the Pakistan Army. It's collateral damage. But a question to you both, which I, as someone following analysts and army generals, ask myself, if the first line of constitution states that Allah is Supreme, then isn't His Law Supreme as well? Shouldn't we also be struggling to eliminate the injustice and exploitation in the society following Islamic injunctions. Leave the TTP aside, if any group of people exerts itself for the implementation of Shariah in the country, doesn't it make them in-line with the constitution and the normal people such as us, the traitors?
Failed tactics. Bombing on rocks make some people happy and excited but it will change nothing. There are more terrorists in Karachi than all tribal areas combined.
So much blood shed on either sides .. S i g h ...makes you wonder where are the gods now FGS ?
It is high time for Pakistan to declare itself as a secular nation.. Secularism is the only way to get out of these religious extremism..
You bomb 50-60 of these and there is not a significant damage to their cause, they recruit 50-60 more. They attack one of our airports and the world withdraws from Pakistan, International airliners halt their operations...The Problem with Pakistanis is that we want to play a game of thrones with a safety belt. We want to kill TTP but we are not ready to take the fall back. If we want to go all out, then we must also be ready to make sacrifice of 150000 precious lives. Are we ready for this? I guess no and thats why we are failing til now. We will have to become Srilanka where there was no investment and no economy for decades until they succumbed the tigers.
@Pir Roshan:
So what do you think what should be done? Sit tight and wait till they kill all of us?
First, we said that their reaction was due to American drone attacks. Lately drones have stopped but you don't see any conciliatory attitude from these terrorist. Then it was different views about religion and should be sorted out. When government tried to talk to them then still many of their groups kept hitting civilian targets. Now they have come out and reiterated one more time that they will be hitting Pakistani targets, an enemy within us.
I am sure you must have seen carnage they did at Karachi airport using Indian made weapons. To me it is an act of war and deserves a befitting response. I am not one of those who sit on sides and see my children getting slaughtered - I will react. To me enough is enough. That may not be a perfect solution but so far no other solution has worked either. If they want to live in Pakistan then accept its writ or leave.
@Bait: Agree with you 100%. Drones have the capability for surgical strikes and unlike aircraft they also have the ability to hover in the air and wait for the opportune moment to maximize impact and reduce collateral damage.
@Pir Roshan: Which country has used chinese planes, US helicopters, blind artillary to bomb its own population? This is how Rahul Gandhi confront Imarn Khan during his last visit to India.
Regarding Rahul Gandhi, please tell me you just made that up. Rahul G couldn't even give a single decent interview to save his life during the recent elections.
As far as bombing one's own population is concerned, look around you. India did it back in 1984. More recently, Sri Lanka did it.
I support military action against the militants. But I do think it's odd that Pakistanis react positively to PAF bombings and negatively to drones, even though drones are much more accurate. It's almost as if we're saying that it's ok if the Pakistani army kills 100 innocent civilians but it's unacceptable if American drones kill 10 innocent civilians. While you might say the Americans are violating Pakistan's sovereignty, I doubt that makes much of a difference to the person getting bombed.
Pakistan is the only country in the world that not only bombs and kills its own citizens but also allows foreigners to do it with impunity. For a few dollars, Pakistan allows its citizens to be hunted & killed by foreigners. Not only humans, even animals & birds are fair game for foreigners.
All the comments are showing our excitement to bomb our villages to kill a Talib or two, This is what our mentality is. This was the main point Karzai fought with US/NATO not to bomb Afghan villages just to kill a Talib or two. Which country has used chinese planes, US helicopters, blind artillary to bomb its own population? This is how Rahul Gandhi confront Imarn Khan during his last visit to India. Trust me if you kill my parents or relatives like this I would go to any extreme to kill you, regardless of how right or strong you are. I will use any means at my disposal to hit you where it hurts the most. Lets be honest to ourselves for once.
one thing for sure, do not fight any war half heartledly and half the will. Only fight to kill and win. war is ugly so act like a beast to portect ur rights and terrotory. Kill before they kill u
@Raghu:
It is high time you people should stop sending money to these groups.
15......just 15 :O
why not annihilate them once and for all...
@Ali: They can also Enter Parliment house the way they do...!!
How intelligent we are, we attacked talibans hideout as always, And as a result they disperssed and infiltrated in every part of Pakistan... Taliban is/was supported by foreign economies those are 100 times stronger then Pakistan.... Do not open an operation where you have again to beg for negotiation... And if operation was solution Mush would have eliminated them from the face of earth...So better firstly clean your cities and towns (B.Towns) where taliban dewells in luxuries houses and send them back to afghanistan and then place strick border and survillence because House is protected from outsiders by boundries and gate, Not by the door of your room...!! Zara Sochia..!!
Dont come crying to the us when the TTP retaliates.
Allah-Akbar... We are with you armed forces. The whole Pakistani nation stands with you. Go take care of these enemies of the 'Land of Pure.'
Good but 9 hideouts...why weren't they destroyed before? Government needs to make a decision and then commit to it!
Ok dont negotiate. Next might be Islamabad airport. Who knows??
Security forces should do carpet bombing and kill all terrorists.
Any one please tell me as to why no one including Imran Khan talk about innocent people being killed as collateral damage. Or is it that Pak AF has some magic wand where by only and only unfriendly terrorists can be identified and killed by these magic bombs.
Hope this is not always as a reaction.Government needs to make this as a preemptive choice. Why should they wait for TTP to kill innocent Pakistanis to react?
Kill all of them ! Show no mercy.. These medieval, venom spitting, stone age murderous thugs need to be annihilated. Enough of letting the faux-negotiations going on. Lets smoke out these cowards from their caves and exterminate them like termites. All of them
If hide outs such as this, with militants only and no non-combatants, why do the security forces wait for attacks to only react.. surely it can not be simple or straight forward as this!
Action: Reaction...Action: Reaction...What a Strategy !!
Well done Pak Army. Kill them all terrorists and make our land pure from these impure terrorists.
Kill and roast these militants....but please just avoid collateral damage
That is just a trailor, more to follow.
One thing I would urge army as well as Interior ministry is to improve intelligence which will help improve hitting right hideouts of these terrorists. Also, don't limit this mop up operation to tribal areas. Cancer has spread all over the country and all agencies needs to participate in it. While this operation is goes on, all politician needs to shut up or face peoples' wrath! Enough is enough.
