Two people were shot dead while an injured political worker succumbed to his wounds

KARACHI: Two people were shot dead while an injured political worker succumbed to his wounds on Sunday. Zakir Essa, 20, was killed when he resisted a robbing bid in Orangi Town within the limits of Pirabad police station. The police claim to have arrested the suspect. Seperately, Shahadat Hussain, 22, was sitting by a road near Saudabad police station when unidentified motorcyclists shot and killed him. His body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy. A worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Ghulam Moinuddin, was wounded in a firing incident in Liaquatabad. He passed away during treatment at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
