Discontent: Young doctors set to hold provincial convention
This decision was taken at the general council meeting on Wednesday night.
LAHORE:
Punjab Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) has decided to hold a Punjab-wide convention to discuss the issues faced by medical officers appointed through the Punjab Public Service Commission and unpaid post graduate trainees.
This decision was taken at the general council meeting on Wednesday night. It was decided that a strategy would be devised at the next meeting to be held on June 12 at Mayo Hospital.
“YDA may start a mass campaign for their demands if they are not heard,” a YDA member told The Express Tribune on Thursday. He said they would fight for their rights.
