The king’s festival: Sindh Mango Festival starts Jun 9 in Mirpurkhas

The festival will have over 500 stalls of different kinds of mangoes.

The annual Sindh Mango Festival will be held from June 9 to June 11 in Mirpurkhas.


According to a statement issued on Thursday, Sindh Minister for Agriculture and Supply and Prices Sardar Ali Nawaz Khan Mahar will inaugurate the festival.

The festival will have over 500 stalls of different kinds of mangoes.

Companies that manufacture different products using mangoes will also participate in the event.

After the inauguration ceremony, the minister will also visit the stalls in the festival and attend a seminar that will be held in connection with the mango festival.

The members of Sindh Abadgar Board, Sindh Chamber of Agriculture and other notables are also expected to attend the event.

Meanwhile, Mahar directed all senior officials of the agriculture department to employ all resources to introduce mangoes of Sindh to international markets.

He was informed that the annual production of mangoes in Sindh is around 400,000 metric tons.
