Lahore police investigating Malik Amir's abduction
Amir, son of former Joint Chief of Staffs, General Tariq Majeed, was kidnapped near his residence in September.

The Lahore Police are investigating the abduction of former Joint Chief of Staffs, General Tariq Majeed's son in law, Malik Amir.
Addressing a press conference, the police officials said no breakthrough has been reached.
Police officials say they have arrested three groups and recovered a heavy amount of illegal weapons. Senior officials however declined to comment on the kidnapping-for-ransom cases.
Malik Amir was kidnapped near his residence about one and a half month ago.
The abduction rate this year has risen by 200 per cent as compared to last year.
