Mystery Murder: Woman found dead at home

JATLI: A 70-year-old woman was found dead at her house in the limits of Jatli Police Station on Thursday. Mirza Khalid lodged a report with the local police that he went to buy groceries from the local market, leaving his mother at home, and found her dead when he returned. The victim’s legs and arms were tied with a rope, the police said. The police shifted her body to a local hospital for autopsy. Meanwhile, a 27-year-old woman went missing from her house. The missing woman’s brother approached the local police to report that his sister had been kidnapped from their house. He suspected that she might have been kidnapped by Arfan*. The police registered separate cases under the relevant laws and investigations are underway.
