Pakistan hints at prolonged conflict with Afghanistan

The city experienced a hot and dry day on Thursday, with temperatures rising sharply compared to the previous day, according to the Meteorological Department. Northeastern winds from Balochistan influenced the city's weather, although lower humidity prevented a full-fledged heatwave.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 38.3°C, up 5.2°C from Wednesday's 33.1°C. Morning humidity remained low at 16 per cent, while the minimum temperature in the early hours was 21.5°C.
