Armed assailants injure two cops in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD:
Two elite force officers were injured in a firing incident near Aabpara Chowk in Islamabad, Express News reported on Tuesday.

Unknown assailants on motorcycles targeted a police mobile in the capital city, wounding two officers who were patrolling the area.


Around 200 officers were on a routine patrol when the incident occurred.

The wounded officers were taken to Polyclinic Hospital for treatment. The armed attackers managed to flee the scene after the attack.
