Tragic: Woman commits suicide

RAWALPINDI:

A 37-year-old woman with an alleged mental disorder committed suicide in Kotli Sattian late on Sunday.

Naseem Akhtar allegedly hanged herself by a tree outside her house, family sources said.

Riazul Haq, a resident of Balawara Sharif, told the local police that his brother-in-law informed him on the phone that Naseem had committed suicide by hanging.

She had allegedly been suffering from a mental disorder for the last couple of months. Naseem had married Muhammad Basharat some 10 years ago and the couple had two children, the police added.
