Lives lost: Police recover two bodies
ASI Imtiaz Ahmad said the body had been buried a month ago.

Two bodies were recovered by the police on Monday. A Sama Satta police spokesman said they received information that a body had been buried near Madi Sheikh Shajra. He said a police team headed by ASI Imtiaz Ahmad visited the place and dug out the body of a woman. He said her nose and hands had been cut off. He said she was believed to be around 25 years of age. He said the police took the body to the rural health centre in Khanqa Sharif. ASI Imtiaz Ahmad said the body had been buried a month ago. He said body had not yet been identified. Separately, in Rahimyar Khan locals told the police they had spotted a body floating in Indus River. Police fished out the body and took it to a morgue for autopsy. The body has not yet been identified.
