Travel requirements: Passengers administered polio drops
As of June 1, all passengers leaving the country will be required to carry a certificate.

Over 2,000 passengers intending to leave the country, a majority of whom were headed for Gulf countries, were administered polio drops at Bacha Khan International Airport (BKIA) Peshawar on Sunday. According to airport officials, 10 flights were scheduled to leave for Muscat, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Kabul, Sharjah, Doha and Ras al-Khaimah from BKIA Peshawar and all passengers were administered polio drops before they received their boarding cards. “We have facilitated the polio vaccination teams and provided them staff, space, counters and banners,” said Jehangir Khan, the terminal duty manager at BKIA. The official added that almost every flight carried over 200 people. As of June 1, all passengers leaving the country will be required to carry a certificate confirming they have received the polio vaccine.
