No Vaccine: Boy bitten by rabid dog dies

The child was referred to Narowal Hospital but he did not survive.

PASROOR:
An 11-year-old boy who was bitten by a rabid dog in a village near Pasroor on Wednesday, passed away at Narowal Hospital on Saturday. Mansha, a resident of Ghatialian village, was playing in a street when a rabid dog bit him. He began having fits within a few hours. That is when his parents took him to Qila Kalar Wala basic health unit where there was no anti-rabies vaccine. The child was referred to Narowal Hospital but he did not survive. He had been a student of grade five.
