Ccomputerise land records are available at 114 tehsils through Arazi Record Centres, a spokesperson for the Board of Revenue’s Project Management Unit said on Saturday.


He said the government was committed to early computerisation of the land record to facilitate land owners.


He said Arazi Record Centres had helped rid land owners of the problems they faced in getting copies of the record. He said the Project Management Unit also obtained feedback from applicants for records. He said a majority of them had expressed satisfaction with the performance of Arazi Record Centres.

He said the feedback had helped the Board of Revenue make the process of getting the copies easier friendly. The fee for obtaining copies had been reduced to Rs150, he said.
