Imran, Shujaat, Qadri to discuss plans for a grand alliance

The three party leaders have said that they want to end the system of corruption in the current government.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan, Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader Dr Tahirul Qadri and Chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid Chaudhry Shujaat are expected convene in London on Friday to deliberate a grand alliance, Express News reported. 

The meeting between Qadri and Shujaat is scheduled to take place today at 3pm in London (1400 GMT).

The three party leaders have said that they want to end the system of corruption in the current government.


Imran will also be meeting with Shujaat, accompanied by PTI Central General Secretary Jehangir Tareen present.

According to Express News, they are going to form a strong opposition. The opposition will be named as the National Alliance.

To end the system of corruption, the party leaders have said that they will continue to hold protests and dharnas.
