Law and order: Report on torture sent to CM
The chief minister and inspector general of the police took notice.

The regional police officer (RPO) on Thursday sent a report on torture on a teenager by six men over theft to the provincial government. According to the report, 16-year-old Ali Baqar was beaten by some men who believed he had stolen some metal pipes a few days ago. Saddar police had recovered the victim from their custody after neighbours alrted the police. They arrested Hasham, Agha Hussain and Tauqir. Muhammad Akhtar detained but released on bail. A case was registered against six men, including Haidar and Amir. Police said they were conducting raids to arrest them. The chief minister and inspector general of the police had taken notice of the incident and had ordered police to submit a report.
