We deeply value the sacrifices made the Pakistani military in fighting terrorism. Our nations have been working side by side on both sides of the border. We have lost thousands of brave soldiers in our shared quest for peace. We take our hat off and salute all those who have lost their lives in our common fight against terrorism. We are committed to restoring peace in the region and refuse to bow down to those who pose a threat to the safety of our countries. The terrorists need to be made aware that they cannot continue to work against our peace objectives and attack and kill at will.

We again commend our brave troops on both sides of the border who are ready to sacrifices their lives for the safety of the region. We look forward to working together and remain confident of achieving our shared peace objectives through mutual cooperation.
